Wide Running Shoes for Men from Apex Shoes. The X520M Boss Runner in black is a supportive running shoe that is built on a straight last for superior motion control and forefoot freedom. These wide running shoes improve stability and control while still accommodating diabetic footwear needs. An anatomically designed toe box offers extra space for additional comfort. The new adjustable Lockdown™ Heel Strap allows for customized support and control to accommodate orthotic braces. A perfect choice for the diabetic that wishes to maintain an active life!
The Apex Boss Runner X520M is designed for performance and comfort. The upper is made using open air sandwich mesh for optimum breathability. A padded tongue and collar surround the foot while the fabric lining is soft and moisture wicking. Stability features include an external heel counter for rearfoot control, a Contrex® External Stability Enhancer that reduces prontation and a Carboplast® footbridge for additional motion control. The Boss Runner X520M is equipped with a cushioning insole that can be removed to accommodate prescribed orthotics and a pressure relief insole that can be removed for 5/16" of total depth. The free floating heel pad and triple density midsole offer ample shock absorption while the rubber outsole offers increased traction, flex and durability.
