The Drew Shoes Men's Dakota in Black is classically styled yet innovatively designed for comfort and ease of wear. These orthopedic shoes are made with a genuine leather upper, utilizing Opanka construction for added durability and flex. The traditional lace closure secures the foot against the foam padded tongue and collar while the Drilex® and leather lining wick away moisture to keep feet feeling fresh. A unique feature of these orthopedic shoes is the lateral zipper closure which creates a large opening for easy on-off. Additional therapeutic benefits include a full length, cushioning, polyurethane footbed and spacer which can both be removed for added and double depth or to accommodate personal orthotics. A firm heel counter promotes rear foot stability while a tempered steel shank improves structural rigidity. The Drew Shoes Men's Dakota is built atop a lightweight polyurethane outsole that features a rocker bottom to promote a the natural heel-toe motion of the gait.
