The Genuine Grip Men's Electrical Hazard Steel Toe Boots are designed to withstand the harsh demands of the work place and to meet the stringent ASTM requirements for impact, compression and electrical hazard protection. The high quality leather upper provides protection, durability and easy maintenance while the moisture wicking mesh lining keeps feet dry. These electrical hazard boots are equipped with the removable, full length, anti-microbial Walking On Air Footbed; ergonomic design offers standing support and aerodynamic air channels on the underside guide air flow to the forefoot where perspiration occurs the most. The Genuine Gip Men's Electrical Hazard Steel Toe Boots are finished with the Genuine Grip Slip Resistant Rubber Outsole that ensures positive traction on wet and dry surfaces.
What is Slip Resistance?
- There are currently no "pass/fail" requirements for slip resistance testing - only general industry standards
- On a scale where 0.0 is the absence of friction and 1.0 is very high friction, a higher score means better slip resistance
- A slip resistance value of 0.50 on wet vinyl floors is generally classified as slip resistant
- The US footwear industry quotes a value minimum 0.25 to 0.30 as a safety margin for outsoles tested on quarry tile floors that are greasy, oily, and wet

- Class C/75 compression resistance - able to withstand 2500 lb rolling over the toe resulting in a 0.5" dent or less
