The Genuine Grip Men's Jogger is a slip resistant shoe with a casual design that will provide optimum traction for the work place. The upper is made from high quality leather to resist against oil and water while the breathable mesh lining helps to manage moisture. These black slip resistance shoes come equipped with the Walking On Air Footbed that features a Dri-Lex® top cover designed to wick away moisture and reduce the growth of odor causing bacteria and fungi. The anatomical footbed also features aerodynamic air channels that guide air flow from the contoured heel to the forefoot area where perspiration occurs the most. The footbed can easily be replaced with a custom orthotic for a personal fit. The Genuine Grip Jogger slip resistant shoes provide ample cushioning with the shock absorbing midsole. An embedded plastic shank offers added forefoot stability. The patent pending Genuine Grip Slip Resistant Rubber Outsole completes the shoe as it provides a high traction rating on wet and oily surfaces.
What is Slip Resistance?
- There are currently no "pass/fail" requirements for slip resistance testing - only general industry standards
- On a scale where 0.0 is the absence of friction and 1.0 is very high friction, a higher score means better slip resistance
- A slip resistance value of 0.50 on wet vinyl floors is generally classified as slip resistant
- The US footwear industry quotes a value minimum 0.25 to 0.30 as a safety margin for outsoles tested on quarry tile floors that are greasy, oily, and wet
