The top layer consists of a Plastazote cover that offers plenty of shock absorption; the soft top cover also limits sheer friction reducing the chance of blisters and ulceration. A middle layer made of cellular urethane foam adds to the resiliency and shock attenuation while the base layer of closed cell EVA adds to the support and shape retention. The Plastazote Tri-Laminate Diabetic Insoles are heat moldable, conforming to the shape of the foot by heating for 1 - 3 minutes at 230° - 250° F and are great for use by healthy people with a healthy weight that enjoy moderate to active levels of activity.
